At the end of the second week of the excavation of William and Anne (Busby) Nickerson’s c. 1664 homestead, the archaeological team has more questions than it began with. A trove of charred beans and corn was a rare find, and seemed to bolster the hypothesis that the house once burned. Click below for an article summing up the dig to date:
