The NFA is grateful to voters in the Town of Chatham who approved the NFA’s $300,000 Community Preservation Act grant application in May. The grant will be used to restore the c. 1695 barn believed to have been built by William Nickerson’s son William. The barn will be restored using traditional techniques on the NFA campus at 1107 Orleans Road, North Chatham.
