Our open hearth cooking club will hold its annual open hearth cooking event on Sun., Jan. 26, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Open hearth cooking expert Anne Firth will lead a program in which all participants take part in preparing the food that will be cooked in front of the open hearth using traditional methods (along with a few modern shortcuts). Food will be shared among the participants. The cost is $5 for annual club membership and $35 to cover the cost of the wood and food. Participants will be given more information by Anne prior to the event and recipes will be handed out. Participation limited to 10.
